Our S.T.A.R. Planning Methodology:
CMN Inc. was established in 1985 as an agency with a vision of providing uniquely integrated marketing solutions to companies, primarily in the technology field. The uniqueness has always been CMN's S.T.A.R. Planning Methodology. This action-oriented, results-driven approach to strategic marketing has proven over the years, and with several major clients, to be a very effective tool in creating and implementing successful marketing and public relations campaigns.

The S.T.A.R. System ' Plan the Work, Work the Plan' defines result-based objectives and lays out an action plan to achieve them. S.T.A.R planning was implemented for Microsoft Canada between 1987-1993 - after a two week engagement Microsoft insisted on signing on for a three-year term to execute the plan, and later on renewed the contract for another three years with tremendous revenue and profit results.
The methodology is delivered through a series of discovery and planning sessions. These highly creative sessions are best suited for CEOs and other top executives and are designed to promote a different way of thinking about and executing marketing plans.
Over the past 20 years CMN has refined this system by working with some of the most powerful business teams in the world. Born under non-disclosure, CMN works with their clients and supply chains to develop confidential, strategic, creative and effective marketing action plans. |

The Creative Marketer’s Handbook:
CMN has evolved through our own process and our clients, to the point where we are very well positioned within the technology arena. In addition, we specialize in new and emerging technologies and new media. We have refine our process to a point that it was essential to write a book about it – The Creative Marketer’s Handbook details the process of working through the S.T.A.R. Planning system featuring a practical set of rules that worked for us and our clients in developing and executing marketing strategies in the real world. The handbook is made up of two parts. In part one the reader gets to ‘Plan the Work’ and in part two they get to ‘Work the Plan’. |
